Take advantage of your present, and whatever you’ve right now in life. There’s no need to look over your shoulder on someone else’s grass and think of the could-haves or should-haves or peep at someone else’s happiness and think: why not me? The grass is greener where you water it.
Work towards taking responsibility for your thoughts and feelings. We become what we think, and I find that taking the time to practice self-awareness and notice the triggers of any negativity as they manifest is the best way to developing a healthy, positive mindset towards life and ourselves. If you feel unhappy or down, don’t be too hard on yourself. Carpe diem your way each day, make slow changes, one step at a time and one day you’ll bloom. Slowly but surely!
